I have been interested in industrial automation since I started designing automatic processes soon after I got my first job. Now retired, I am amazed by how far manufacturers - and others - have taken the ideas behind automation and run with them. My blog is devoted to the latest approaches to automation and I cover anything from modern automatic assembly machines to complex robotics. I think it is important that different industrial sectors can learn from what other ones are doing because so many techniques in automation can be applied elsewhere. If you are interested in industrial automation, then I hope my blog will get you thinking about how you can develop your own ideas further.
